SHIRLEY GREEN

Shirley has been a puppeteer/clown for 40 years under the name of Big Red. She has performed for children all over the world, including Czechoslovakia while behind the iron curtain, China, El Salvador, the Swiss Alps, and Australia. Big Red, along with her chimp puppet Jocko, were guests with a circus in Columbus, and were featured on TV while performing at Children's Hospital. Big Red and Jocko are un-separable. In 1996 Shirley received the President's Award from the Central Ohio Breathing Association for her clown/chimp performances, raising money for charity. She also used to work with Woody Hayes for the Heinzerling Foundation's fund raisers. Shirley is an active musician and artist, and builds marionettes, while Big Red and Jocko consider themselves semi-retired.

JUDY (SNYDER) & RICHARD McLEAD

Richard works with 32-inch marionettes and ventriolquist dummies, presenting vaudeville-type shows with singing and jokes. There is also a circus marionette show with clowns (jugglers), a unicyclist, a trapeze artist, a tightrope walker, a lion, an elephant, trick horses and a ring master. Richard presents most of his shows at retirement homes, fairs and churches. He also recently designed all the marionettes for a Guild production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

BRIAN WINDSOR

Brian got involved in puppetry around 2004.  His primary interest is in digital puppetry, but he's been working at traditional puppetry as well in order to understand the art form better. His work website (http://accad.osu.edu/~bwindsor/digipuppets/index.html) shows a little more of the digital work he's doing.  The talking puppet section gives much more of a glimpse of his work bringing traditional puppets into the digital age.
